Hi, I'm Mike, one of the committee and the creator of the web sites and social media sites.
Over the coming year or so, I will be taking on a project to photograph individual veterans in our group for a Photo book I'm creating.
This is happening around the UK with various photographers and I will be the Wirral Photographer. Each page will be dedicated to one individual with a formal portrait wearing Blazer, Medals if issued and Beret plus a short history of their service.
I'll be announcing further information in the coming months, and, each individual taking part, will also receive a copy of the formal photograph completely free of charge, with the option to purchase either a framed or canvas bonded portrait, as well as purchasing the book when it is eventually printed.
The proceeds after taking the material costs into consideration, will all go towards further social events created by the committee, such as venue hire, bottles of port for toasting etc.
I look forward to meeting up with all individuals who would like to take part in the project.
